The invention concerns a roof module (14) designed to be housed in a cavity of a vehicle roof surface (1). It is possible to incorporate, in the vehicle roof surface (1), mobile surfaces (11) capable of manual actuation, and mobile surfaces (11) capable of being controlled by servo-actuators (21). The roof module (14) can be associated with an actuation (21) of the mobile surface (11) or with frame elements (13) wherein the mobile surface (11) is guided. The roof module (14) comprises electronic components and sensors (34, 52, 56, 57, 62) which constitute functional units (30, 40, 50, 60) for maneuvering the mobile surface (11), for monitoring and air conditioning the vehicle passenger compartment (23), for communicating with external information systems (43, 44, 45, 46, 47) and for activating the vehicle safety systems. |
