The cutter disc especially for a garden cutter or suchlike has at least one knife fastened on a baseplate (2). At least one metal plate with noise damping characteristics is fixed on the baseplate. The plate is in sandwich construction comprising two steel plates in between which is a layer of plastic which may be visco-elastic. The plate is point-connected to the baseplate by fastening points, and may be connected by deformation, stamping or by a screwed connection.
