DEVICE FOR PREVENTING SLIP OF BELT CONVEYOR

PURPOSE: A slip preventing device of a belt conveyor is provided to automatically compensate the slip or the skew of a belt. CONSTITUTION: Plural recessed bars(62,64) are hinged in supporting shaft(100,102) in the center of a driving pulley and widened or shrunken in both ends of the driving pulley. Magnetic suction operating disks(72) are hinged with links to be connected with the recessed bars and moved in both ends of the driving pulley axially. Plural electromagnets sucks the magnetic suction operating disks by closely and respectively installing in the magnetic suction operating disks. Skew detecting sensors outputs different signals according to the moved amount by following the rectangular movement against the advancing direction of a belt(50). A control unit controls to protrude the recessed bar on the surface of the driving pulley by exciting the electromagnets through a belt slip detecting signal from a belt slip detecting sensor and controls to protrude the recessed bars on the surface of the driving pulley by exciting the electromagnets at the strength corresponding to the moved amount of the belt according to the signals from the skew detecting sensors. Thereby, the slip and the skew of the belt is prevented by protruding the recessed bar from the driving pulley.
