<p>The invention relates to a toner composition containing an amorphous polyester. The polyester is obtained by a process comprising three steps: in the first step a reaction of a dicarboxylic acid or its derivative with a molar excess of diol takes place, in the second step the polycondensation of the prepolymer of the first step into a hydroxyfunctional polyester takes place and in the third step the hydroxyfunctional polyester resin is converted into an acid functional polyester by reaction of the hydroxyfunctional polyester with a dicarboxylic acid or its anhydride.</p> |
