A clamp holds a pre die-cut carton panel while the flat carton blank is separated from surplus material. The clamp has a horizontal frame (10) penetrated at right angles by a spring (16) mounted pushrod (14) guide (12). The guide (12) is presented through apertures (24, 26) by a bottom flange (20) and a top flange (22).
