LIQUID CERAMIC ANTIFOULING PAINT COMPOSITION AND ADDITIVE USED THEREIN

PURPOSE: Provided are a liquid ceramic antifouling paint composition and an additive used therein which can inhibit attachment of ocean lives such as oyster shells and seaweeds. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises mainly liquid ceramic having a particle size of 20 to 40 nanometers, monazite powder capable of emitting minus ions and tourmaline powder. Each of the monazite powder and the tourmaline powder has an average particle size of 1 to 5 micrometers. The monazite powder and the tourmaline powder are added to the liquid ceramic in a ratio of 60 to 80%. The content of the monazite powder is 20 to 40% and that of the tourmaline powder is 20 to 40%.
