PURPOSE: A centrifugal blower for a vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce noise, and to improve blowing efficiency by inclining an outlet of an impeller and an inlet of a diffuser for flowing air between the impeller and the diffuser actively. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal blower comprises an impeller(54) rotated and installed in an impeller cover including an intake port(52a); a motor(60) combined with the lower part of the impeller cover, installed in a motor housing(53) having plural discharge outlets(53a), and connected to the impeller by a rotating shaft(59) to rotate the impeller; a diffuser(56) installed around the impeller to transfer air from the impeller; and a guide vane(58) installed in the lower part of the diffuser to guide air from the diffuser to the motor. An outlet(54b) of the impeller and an inlet(56a) of the diffuser are inclined to the rotating shaft. Noise is reduced, and blowing efficiency is improved by moving air from the outlet of the impeller into the diffuser.
