PURPOSE: A parking fee charging method using a mobile communication system is provided to automate a parking lot facility management by using a parking management system connected to a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A driver dials a specific number of a parking management system for connection by using a mobile terminal to park his/her car(S100,S110). The mobile terminal inputs data for parking the car according to an announcement and requests an approval(S120). The parking management system outputs a response signal for allowing parking if there is a vacancy in a parking facility(S130), opens a traffic lifting gate, and counts parking time(S140). As the parking is allowed, the car enters into a parking lot and parks the car at a suitable parking place(S150). If the driver wants to move out of the parking lot(S160), he/she connects to the parking management system by using the mobile terminal(S170) and inputs data requesting car move-out according to an announcement(S180). The parking system calculates billing amount of a parking fee for the parking time from the car entry to car move-out and displays it on a display unit of the mobile terminal(S190). The user depresses a corresponding button of the mobile terminal to let the parking management system recognize an acknowledge signal(S200). The parking management system terminates counting on the parking time and controls the traffic lifting gate to allow the car to pass(S210).
