AUTOMATED GUIDED SYSTEM AND RUNNING CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: An automated guided system and running control method is provided to reduce installation cost and to keep the accuracy of detecting a guide tag by using a discontinuous guide tag. CONSTITUTION: A discontinuous guide tag is installed at the moving track of an automated guided vehicle. A running unit(70) moves the automated guided vehicle. A plurality of track detecting units(31,32) are installed at the front and rear ends of the automated guided vehicle, and detects the guide tag. A distance detecting unit(40) calculates the moving distance of the automated guided vehicle. A gyro sensor(20) detects the moving direction of the automated guided vehicle. A control unit(60) controls the running unit to calculate a position error and a direction error and to compensate the error.
