PURPOSE: A surface mount type electret condenser microphone is provided to apply an SMT(Surface Mount Technology) on the electret condenser microphone by improving a high temperature characteristic of the electret condenser microphone. CONSTITUTION: A microphone includes a case(11), a diaphragm(12), a spacer(13), and a back electret(14), the first base(15), the second base(16), and a printed circuit board(17). The back electret has a multi-layer structure which is formed with FEP(Fluoro Ethylene Propylene) and PTFE(Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene). A plurality of through-holes are formed on a front face of the case. The diaphragm are vibrated by the sound. The spacer is used for forming a space between the diaphragm and the back electret. The first base is formed with high temperature resistant polymer material. A plurality of solder balls(19) are formed on the printed circuit board.
