PROCESS FOR PRODUCING TRANSPARENT FLAT FILM FROM THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE(TPU) AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing a transparent flat film from TPU, which needs not labor-intensive pressing operations and reduces or eliminates the problems of soiling, pressing defects, formation of deposits and sticking to polishing rolls. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: introducing a molten TPU at a temperature of 150-220 deg.C between two hot-melt thermoplastic sheets at a temperature of 0-80 deg.C; passing the hot-melt thermoplastic sheets to which TPU is introduced between two contra-rotating rolls at a temperature of 10-70 deg.C; cooling the hot-melt thermoplastic sheets to which TPU is introduced; optionally cutting the hot-melt thermoplastic sheets to which TPU is introduced; and mechanically removing the hot-melt plastic sheets from the flat film.
