PURPOSE: A method for adding a material comprising calcium oxide (CaO) or magnesium oxide (MgO) to molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) to prevent evaporation of molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) used in steelmaking process is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a method for suppressing evaporation of MoO3 by mixing MoO3 raw material with one or more CaO contained materials or MgO contained materials, thereby forming CaMoO4 or MgMoO4, the method is characterized in that evaporation loss of MoO3 is reduced by controlling a weight ratio of the CaO or MgO and MoO3 as in the following relational expressions during mixing of the CaO or MgO and MoO3: relational expressions: 0.38>weight of CaO/weight of MoO3>(100%-actual yield of MoO3 at an ordinary operation (%))/100x0.38, 0.28>weight of MgO/weight of MoO3>(100%-actual yield of MoO3 at an ordinary operation (%))/100x0.28, wherein the CaO contained materials or MgO contained materials are any one powder selected from CaO-SiO2 based flux, CaO-Al2O3 based flux, CaO or MgO contained waste slag, CaO or MgO contained steelmaking dust and dolomite (CaO-MgO), and evaporation loss of MoO3 is reduced by injecting compression molded material between electric furnace initial operation and heat booster after compression molding the CaO contained materials or MgO contained materials together with the MoO3 power.
|
