PURPOSE: A method for generating a G-code of a numerical control type machine tool is provided to generate a processing program by defining the G-code and a cycle code suitable for the kind of the numerical control type machine tool. CONSTITUTION: A necessary variable definition value and a modal G-code are set up by reading a code definition file according a processing request(S101-S103). A cycle code is called by using a defined G-code file and a setting part of the cycle code is compared to a defined cycle code part of the code definition file(S104,S105). A G-code and a variable definition value are compared to options of a numerical control type machine tool(S106). The modal G-code is generated by confirming whether the setting code is a modal code or not(S107). A processing program is generated by generating the cycle code according to the options of the numerical control type machine tool on the basis the input values(S108).
