PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting automatically vehicle collision information are provided to transmit the correct and object collision information of a vehicle by installing a collision recorder at the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transmitting automatically vehicle collision information includes a sensor, a memory, and a wireless communication controller(200). The sensor is used for searching the collision information(206) from a vehicle having a collision recorder. The memory is connected to the memory in order to store the vehicle information and the collision information. The wireless communication controller is connected to the memory in order to set up a wireless communication link with a corresponding wireless communication controller of the opposite vehicle, respond to the wireless communication link with the corresponding wireless communication controller, and exchange the information of the memory.
