摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to form a light shielding layer for preventing a liquid crystal driving chip from being erroneously operated without a separate process. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a transparent substrate(160), a transparent electrode pattern(140) formed on the front surface of the transparent substrate, a conductive line(90) connected to the transparent electrode pattern, and a contact pad formed at one side of the conductive line. The liquid crystal display further includes a liquid crystal driving chip(22) connected to the contact pad and mounted on the front surface of the transparent substrate, and a light shielding layer(100) formed on the front surface of the transparent substrate. The liquid crystal driving chip is superposed on at least a part of the light shielding layer. The liquid shielding layer is connected to an external grounding terminal.
