发明名称 HOT ROLLING METHOD FOR IMPROVING QUALITY OF FERRITIC STAINLESS STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE: A hot rolling method of stainless steel is provided which is capable of securing nonuniformed strain inside a rolling material generated during rough rolling and finish rolling into uniformed strain in hot rolling process of stainless steel. CONSTITUTION: In a hot rolling method capable of securing uniformed strain inside hot rolling strip in hot rolling process of ferritic stainless steel, the hot rolling method for improving quality of ferritic stainless steel is characterized in that the hot rolling strip is hot rolled within two seconds after securing strain resistance of stainless hot rolling strip by mounting a cooling nitrogen gas injection device at the input side of rough rolling and finish rolling stands of the hot rolling process so that cooling nitrogen gas is injected to an angle of 10 to 20 degrees oppositely to a rolling direction and injecting nitrogen gas onto the hot rolling strip just before rolling, thereby cooling a temperature of the surface of the hot rolling strip to 800 deg.C or less, wherein not only strain resistance of the hot rolling stainless strip is secured, but also lubrication effect of scale layer is obtained by injecting nitrogen gas onto the hot rolling strip so that scale layer formed on the surface of the hot rolling strip is secured as it is while the partially hot rolled strip is maintained until the strip is completely hot rolled in the succeeding rolling process after partially hot rolling the strip.
