PURPOSE: A system and a method for communicating between users using a network are provided to smoothly perform the communication between the users joining in an online game by using a voice and a text in a narrow network bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: User terminals are divided into a data transmitting device and a data receiving device. The data transmitting device comprises a voice input part(110) such as a microphone, a voice recognition part(111), a voice/text converting part(112) converting a voice signal into the text data, a voice compressing part(114), a transmission code storing part(113), a data synthesizing part(115), and a data transmitting part(116). The data receiving part comprises a data receiving part(116), a data separating part(117), a text/voice converting part(118) converting the text data into the voice signal, a decompressing part(119), and a voice outputting part(120) such as a speaker. |
