PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the structure of a second shock absorbing means in a shock absorber for a motorcycle having a first shock absorbing means with a spring upper member on a body frame side and a spring lower member on a wheel side and developing a shock absorbing function according to the close- moving and apart-moving actions of the spring upper and lower members and a second shock absorbing means installed between the spring lower member of the first shock absorbing means and a wheel. SOLUTION: The second shock absorbing means 25 comprises a bearing means 30 pivotally supporting the axle of the wheel WF, a guide frame 31 allowing the bearing member 30 to be slidably fitted therein and fixed to the spring lower member 27 of the first shock absorbing means 24, and a pair of elastic bodies 32 installed between both ends of the guide frame 31 along the sliding direction of the bearing member 30 and the bearing member 30.
