PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming device having a manual tray having simple structure and a locking function equivalent to the prior art. SOLUTION: The image forming device has the manual tray 10 pivoted by a device body 1 at its lower end, is turnable to a stored position in the device body 1 and a paper refill position, and has an extending member 12 expandable and contractable by slide for holding the terminal end of large size paper. The device body 1 is provided with an engaging part 14 for performing engagement in storing and releasing the engagement in refilling paper, and the extending member 12 is provided with an engaged part 13.
