PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation exhibiting ameliorating and prophylactic effects on dry skin, wrinkles and rough skin through improving the epidermal barrier function of the skin and the moisture regain condition of stratum corneum. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is obtained by formulating a combination of hydrolyzed silk proteins with seaweed extract. Further, combined use of at least one ingredient selected from licorice extract, mulberry extract and burnet extract can impart the skin with transparent feeling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
