<p>A polyimide film (F) is intimately contacted with a forming die (3) having a concave forming surface (3a), in such a manner as to hermetically seal the open end thereof, and the polyimide film (F) is curvedly deformed solely by a gas pressure difference while noncontact wise heating the film. A pressure diffience at least in the final stage of curve bending is so set that a space (8) on the forming die 3 side with respect to the polyimide film (F) is evacuated, while a space (9) on the opposite side is pressurized to force the film into intimate contact with the concave forming surface (3a) to thereby complete a molding.</p> |
