PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure both setting operability of sheets and guide performance of sheets in a state having a tilting guide member. SOLUTION: This sheet supplying device comprises a tilting guide member 5 that is disposed at a position corresponding to the sheet feeding direction of a sheet tray 1 tiltably in the sheet feeding direction, contacts with the sheets 2 at a sheet feed position, and guides the sheets 2 to a sheet feed unit 3. The sheet supplying device also comprises a position regulating member 6 that is disposed separately from the tilting guide member 5, contacts with the end face of the sheets 2 in the sheet feeding direction at a sheet set position, and regulates the end face position of the sheets 2.
