PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering controller capable of ensuring a favorable feeling of steering by generating an appropriate steering reaction irrespective of the vehicle speed in a steering-by-wire operation. SOLUTION: A steering reaction F, which is a target generating force by a reaction actuator 18, can be calculated by the formula of F=K1×F1+K2×F 2+K3×F3, by using a steering reaction F1 calculated in accordance with a steered angleθ, a steering reaction F2 calculated by the linear sum of the reaction component of a lateral acceleration Yg and the reaction component of a yaw rateϕ, a steering reaction F3 calculated in accordance with a steering speed dθ, and coefficients K1, K2 and K3.
