SOLUTION: This riding type rice transplanter mounted with a planting section 15 liftably on the rear part of a traveling vehicle 1 and also mounted with front and rear wheels 6 and 8 via front and rear axle cases 5 and 7 is characterized in that a rear frame 72 is set upright behind frames 3 and 71 joining the axle cases 5 and 7, and the rear portion of the vehicle body cover 12 defining the step is made higher than the front portion.
