METHOD FOR PRODUCING STABILIZED SHAPE-STABILIZING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing an instable water-soluble dihalogeno-S-triazine-based compound effective for functional fiber development such as shape-stabilizing treatment by the spray-drying method for powdering the agent. SOLUTION: The stabilized high-purity fiber modifier is obtained by settling its instability, in other words, settling the change with the lapse of time so as to stabilize a single substance or a mixture of a water-soluble dihalogeno-S- triazine-based compound by adding an alkaline material and/or a buffer to adjust pH within a predetermined range and instantly spray-drying the obtained at a high temperature.
