PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid pad of a packaging box of which assembling can be easily carried out and its packaging work can be performed efficiently. SOLUTION: There is provided a lid pad of a packaging box which is inserted into a lid of the packaging box and a height difference of commodity is accommodated by a step difference between a flat part 11 and a raised part. The raised part 12 is formed by merely turning-in a sheet end part and pushing it into the lid 10 to cause elevational plates 3, 5 of the raised part 12 to be raised, raised pieces 7 extended out of both sides of the sheet are abutted against the inner surfaces of the elevational plates 3, 5 so as to keep a shape of the raised part 12.
