PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically decide a viewing form of input sources matching the preference of a user on the basis of history information in simultaneously outputting the video images and sound of the input sources provided from a plurality of media by storing viewing patterns of the user in the past as the history information. SOLUTION: A source ID selected as input is identified in a step S401, and whether the input source (or the combination thereof) is viewed in the past, that is, whether it is present in a viewing pattern history data base, is checked on the basis of the attribute data of the selected input source in the next step S402. In the case that it is present in the history data base, display is performed by the screen layout and sound mode of the highest frequency from the viewing patterns in the past (S403).
