PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recorder, an optical disk recording method, an optical disk player and an optical disk, in which the highly reliable information is recordable or reproducible by reducing the influence of the interlayer crosstalk. SOLUTION: In the optical disk recorder for recording the information on the optical disk 11 having general information recording areas 26, 27 to record the general information thereon and a control information recording area 25 whereon the control information is recorded for controlling the general information recorded on these general information recording areas 26, 27, the meaningless information is recorded on a unrecorded area 25b in the control information recording area 25 of the optical disk 11.
