<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional distributed control system where it is not practical in a small and medium scale system with a total number of input/output at several hundred points or lower since the proportion of cost increase required for securing reliability such as doubling in the whole system is large. <P>SOLUTION: Controllers 1-4 are placed in each site composing the small and medium scale system, respectively, and they individually control an apparatus of each site. The controller 1 has an input/output point data area 14 storing inputted/outputted data for controlling the apparatus of the site where it has been placed, and a communication data areas 17-19 storing pieces of data inputted/outputted by the other controllers 2-4 for controlling the apparatuses of the sites acquired via a field network 7. Diagnosis for anomalies of the controllers 2-4 and the apparatuses controlled by the controllers 2-4 is conducted by using the pieces of inputted/outputted data of the controllers 2-4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
