摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress discharge of unburned fuel and a residue of fuel in an intake port 10a or the like and to prevent deterioration of an exhaust state in stoppage of a spark ignition engine 1 when providing an injector 16 in the intake port 10a of the engine 1 and injecting fuel at predetermined timing. SOLUTION: When stopping the engine 1, the fuel is supplied and an air-fuel mixture is ignited and burned in a cylinder 2 by advancing injection timing of the injector 16 to a the middle of a compression stroke (step SA13) and decreasing an injection quantity more than that during idling operation (step SA14). When a combustion cycle NINJ exceeds a set number of times KINJ (step SA17), only supply of the fuel is stopped, and then when an engine speed NE becomes an ECU stopping rotational speed KNE or lower (step SA18), electric power supply to an ECU 30 is stopped and ignition control is completed (step SA22).
