<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell, and its manufacturing method, equipped with an anti-reaction layer for effectively preventing reaction of solid electrolyte and each electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte fuel cell is provided with a fuel electrode equipped on one side of a planar solid electrolyte and an air electrode equipped on the other side of the solid electrolyte, and an anti-reaction layer fitted between the solid electrolyte and at least either the fuel electrode or the air electrode with a porosity to be not more than 25%.
