PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal comparison detection switching device wherein detection error is little and detection time is short when delay difference, signal level difference, inversion of phase and noise mixing are present between input signals, in a signal comparison detection switching device which is to be built in a network follow type radio receiver or the like. SOLUTION: In this signal comparison detection switching device, an adaptive filter 206 and a decision control unit are installed. In the adaptive filter 206, an FIR filter 303 for forming a selection signal 207 from a signal y204, an adaptive FIR filter 308 for forming a pseudo signal 208 from a signal x205, and a subtracter 312 for calculating a differential signal 211 of the selection signal 207 and the pseudo signal 208. The adaptive FIR filter 308 forms a filter coefficient 212 in such a manner that the differential signal 211 becomes minimum. The decision control unit decides whether contents of the selection signal 207 coincide with contents of the pseudo signal 208, on the basis of difference between the signal x205 and the differential signal 211, and the filter coefficient 212.
