FIELD: lighting equipment; starting and regulating facilities for low-pressure gas-discharge lamps. SUBSTANCE: master oscillator has power buses and clock generator connected to them; clock generator has external input and output, pulse shaper incorporating clock input, disabling input for shaper outputs, and two outputs; it also has protective unit incorporating external input and shaper disabling signal output connected to shaper outputs disabling input; newly introduced in device are controlled frequency scaler that has external division ratio change-over input, clock output of controlled frequency scaler, and turn-off enabling output for output signal of shaper pulse length control unit, as well as shaper pulse length control unit that has shaper pulse length control input, enabling input for output signal of shaper pulse length control unit, and output; protective unit is provided in addition with its respective turn-on enabling input.
