PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve positioner having a communicating means for performing the digital communication with an external apparatus, which allows a worker to easily distinguish the valve positioner to be operated. SOLUTION: This valve positioner comprising the communicating means for performing the digital communication with the external apparatus, and receiving and transmitting a digital signal with respect to the external apparatus, also comprises an informing means for informing the outside of a situation of the digital communication by the communicating means.
