PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane hydrate buoyant tank which reduces the heat quantity in accompany with the change of a condition of a natural gas, and also reduces the boiling-off. SOLUTION: This metal hydrate buoyant tank 1 is composed of an outer tank 3 having a predetermined volume, a heat insulation material 5 of a predetermined thickness mounted on an inner peripheral face of the outer tank 3, an inner tank 7 mounted on an inner peripheral face of the heat insulation material 5, and a heat medium pipe 9 mounted on an inner peripheral face of the inner tank 7.
