PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor and time required for installing an earthquake- sensitive lock device for a door and a damper to a cabinet. SOLUTION: This locking device is equipped with a lock main body 2 to be attached to a cabinet C and a linking device 3 to be attached to a door D, and the main body 2 and the device 3 are linked together when an earthquake occurs and the door D becomes not openable; for this purpose, a damper 4 is installed to the lock main body 2 for easing the impact created when the door D is closed. The damper 4 is equipped with a damper main body 11 attached to the lock main body 2, and a rod 12 which is quickly protruded toward opening door D from the damper main body 11 and is pushed by a closing door D and then gradually absorbed in the damper main body 11, and the attaching position of the damper main body 11 can be adjusted in go in and out direction of the rod 12 (direction of arrow A). Therefore, the damper 4 is provided to the lock main body 2 and thus the damper 4 can be arranged to the cabinet C by attaching the lock main body 2 to the cabinet C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
