ENGINE START CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ignition by waste fire during the normal rotation in an engine start control device which is in preparation for the next engine start by reversing a crank shaft to a predetermined position immediately after engine stop.

SOLUTION: The engine start control device having a reverse control means for reversing the crank shaft to a predetermined position when starting an engine and making the engine rotate normally from the predetermined position when re-starting the next time is equipped with a starter motor connected to the crank shaft, an ignition means for igniting the engine near an inner dead center of a piston and an ignition restraint means for inhibiting engine ignition only during a predetermined period of time after normal rotation of the engine.
