PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotating apparatus capable of attaining high strength by preventing the concentration of stress against centrifugal force. SOLUTION: This rotor for the rotating apparatus includes a plurality of insertion holes 5 for inserting permanent magnets 4, and a plurality of spaces 7a for restraining the leakage flux of the permanent magnets 4. The magnets 4 are inserted into the insertion holes 5.
