PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for imparting deodorant function to a paper product, and to provide a paper product, or the like, imparted with deodorant function. SOLUTION: The method comprises adding a necessary amount of citric acid or phosphoric acid to exhibit the deodorant function, to the paper product, a textile product or a manufacture raw material or finished product for pet.
