PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing diarylamines from arylamines in high selectivity. SOLUTION: The diarylamines represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>5</SP>are each independently hydrogen atom, a 1-12C alkyl group, a 1-12C alkoxy group, a phenyl group, hydroxy group, an amino group, nitro group, a halogeno group, or a 1-12C alkyl group substituted with a 1-12C alkoxy group, a phenyl group or hydroxy group) are reacted in a liquid phase in the presence of aβ-zeolite having≤6% total volume of pores having 0.1-10μm diameters based on the whole pore volume.
