<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage power supply wherein beat components are prevented from being produced due to interference with the outputs of other power supplies and images are prevented from being degraded due to the beat. <P>SOLUTION: In the high-voltage power supply, only the alternating-current components of voltage for primary charge and voltage for developing bias outputted through output protection resistors R1 and R2 are detected by a voltage detecting means 8 and a voltage detecting means 9. The results of the detection are inputted to a MPU 12 through corresponding A-D converting means 10 and 11. Based on the individual inputted digital signals, the MPU 12 samples a beat component produced by the alternating-current components of the detected voltage for primary charge and voltage for developing bias. To cancel out the computed beat component, the MPU 12 controls so as to increase or decrease the amplitude of a high-voltage alternating-current power supply 3 for primary charge and an alternating-current bias power supply 4 for developing bias in such a direction as to cancel out the beat component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
