FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: rotational pulp catcher has trough-shaped casing with branch pipes for supplying of non-filtered juice. Juice is filtered through netted cylindrical drum located inside casing on shaft. Shaft is driven for rotation by means of drive having electric engine and chain transmission with toothed wheels mounted on shaft. Pulp catcher is equipped with filtered juice receiver having branch pipes for discharging filtered juice, hopper for pulp, and frame mounted on shaft and provided with flexible needle-type rods for cleaning drum netted surface openings. Netted surface of drum is made from bimetal (for example, from steel and aluminum), and its openings are made in the form of truncated cones with larger bases oriented inside drum. EFFECT: increased efficiency in removal of pulp from drum net openings and simplified construction. 3 dwg |
