FIELD: processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, such as distillation residues, tar, bitumen and mazut. SUBSTANCE: proposed reactor has sectional water-cooled housing with mixing chamber provided with branch pipes for delivery of hot gas and oxidizer and burner, reaction chamber and hardening-evaporating unit. Reactor is also provided with unit for delivery of raw material to reaction chamber which is provided with tubes mounted in parallel to axis of housing and provided with holes in side walls oriented towards side surface of housing. Reactor outlet is made in form of nozzle. Housing is provided with additional inner wall in zone of reaction chamber forming circular slot for passage of cooling water with open end to nozzle. Besides that, housing is provided with spacer increasing longitudinal section of reaction chamber where bush made from heat-resistant material is mounted ; said bush is provided with radial fins engageable with surface of inner wall of housing. Housing is also provided with branch pipe for delivery of activating gas or modifying agent.
