PURPOSE: A transfer device by using an air cylinder is provided to prevent an article from being separated from a gripping device by supporting the article using a stopper of the air cylinder, which is operated by a swing plate and a solenoid unit. CONSTITUTION: A transfer device conveys an article from a previous stage to a next stage by gripping the article using a gripper. The transfer device includes a gripping section(50). An air cylinder(10), which is operated by a swing plate and a solenoid unit, is installed at a front portion of the gripping section(50). When the gripping section(50) grips an article ejected from a mold, a stopper(11) of the gripping section(50) is moved down so as to support the article. When the gripping section(50) conveys the article into a mold positioned in a next stage, the stopper(11) of the gripping section(50) is moved up to its initial position.
