PURPOSE: An aqueous OPV(Over Printing Varnish) coating composition is provided, which shows excellent coating property and adhesive strength on paper and shows good gloss, heat resistance, blocking resistance and moisture permeability. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous OPV coating composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a water-dispersive copolymer polyester represented by the formula 1; 1-45 parts by weight an acryl copolymer; 1-45 parts by weight of a styrene copolymer; 1-35 parts by weight of a water-dispersive glycidyl methacrylate copolymer; optionally 3-10 parts by weight of an alcohol-based solvent; and optionally 1-5 parts by weight of a water-dispersive wax, wherein M is a group derived from a neutralizing agent; and x, y, m and n represent the composition ratio of each monomer, and x and y are each 0.1-0.6 and m+n is 1. Preferably the water-dispersive glycidyl methacrylate copolymer is represented by the formula 3, wherein m+n is 1 and n is 0.1-0.2. |
