PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing scum in oil separator is provided to prevent safety accident, reduce required operation time, prevent environmental pollution and reduce cleaning time of the oil separator by removing scum on the upper part of wastewater in oil separator continuously and automatically. CONSTITUTION: In an oil separation tank which includes wastewater inlet pipe and wastewater outlet pipe, and on the lower part of which air ejection unit is mounted, the apparatus for continuously and automatically removing scum in oil separation tank comprises a driving motor(55) mounted on the upper part of the tank(4); an apparatus shaft(42) which is connected to the driving motor and forms a central shaft inside the tank; a buoy(10) which is adhered to the apparatus shaft(42) so that the buoy(10) is vertically moved, and in which air is filled so that the buoy(10) is positioned on the surface of waste oil inside the tank; a bracket(40) which is adhered to the side of the buoy(10), and on which a vertically movable guide groove is formed; guide arms(30) an end of one side of which is inserted into the guide groove of the bracket, and to an end of the other side of which a collection mesh(16) is rotationally adhered; a position control gear mounted on an end of the other side of the collection mesh; a guide roller rotationally mounted thereon with being projected from the position control gear; and a roller guide ring along the circumferential surface of which the guide groove is formed so that the roller guide is inserted into the guide groove, and which is circumferentially mounted on the inner wall surface of the tank so that the roller guide ring is vertically moved along the collection mesh through the guide shaft(21).
