METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOSPHOR SCREEN BY THERMAL TRANSFER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a phosphor screen is provided to simplify structure of thermal transfer film and manufacturing procedures, while allowing for ease of thermal transfer and achieving improved quality of phosphor screen. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of forming a phosphor layer(4) on a base film(2); a step of forming a conductive adhesive layer(6) on the phosphor layer; a step of cutting a thermal transfer film formed of the base film, phosphor layer and the conductive adhesive layer, into the size corresponding to the size of a screen panel(10); a step of positioning the thermal transfer film to the screen panel in such a manner that the conductive adhesive layer contacts the screen panel, and transferring the phosphor layer and the conductive adhesive layer to the screen panel by applying heat and pressure to the rear surface of the thermal transfer film; and a step of removing the base film from the screen panel.
