PURPOSE: An exhaust brake device of a vehicle is provided to easily return a valve to its initial position and to improve an output of an engine by preventing exhaust gas of the engine from being disturbed. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust brake device includes a valve body(40) installed at a middle part of an exhaust pipe(50). A valve(42) is accommodated in the valve body(40) so as to open/close a fluid passage. The valve(42) is driven by a power chamber(30). The valve(42) includes a cone-type valve. A lateral portion of the valve(42) has a cylindrical shape. The lateral portion of the valve(42) is supported by a guide(41), which is formed in the valve body(40). A rack bar(43) having a rack gear is formed at a rear portion of the valve(42). The rack bar(43) is meshed with a pinion(44) of a shaft(45) positioned across the valve body(40).
