PURPOSE: A sinker is provided to simplify the whole manufacturing process thereof, and to achieve environment friendly products. CONSTITUTION: The sinker(20) comprises a body(10), and a loop(12) formed at one side of the body, to which a fishing line is connected. The body and the loop are integrally molded with a metal material. The metal material is iron or iron alloy. Although the body and loop are molded by a forging technique, if necessary, they are molded by a casting technique. By virtue of such integral molding of the body and loop, the manufacture thereof is simplified. Further, since the iron or iron alloy is a harmless material, it is possible to achieve an environment friendly sinker.
