The venting device (1) has a line (2) connecting the crankcase cavity to the lower separating cavity (3) of a fluid separator. The upper separating cavity (6) is connected by a gas line (7) to the induction system. The cavities are separated from each other by a separating device (5) with a porous separating body. A line (9) for the separated-out liquids and solids runs from the separating device.
